Biography

Before it became a profession, my voice was already a game and an experiment for me. In my teens, I recorded cassette tapes on my 3-in-1 stereo system, creating homemade radio programs, mixing music, commentary, and characters. Without knowing it, a deep relationship with sound communication began there, one that would soon lead me to become a professional announcer.

My journey officially began in radio, at age 17, at Jovem FM in Itajubá, Minas Gerais. What started as a hobby turned into a profession. Shortly after, I moved to Campinas to study Advertising and Public Relations at PUC-Campinas. It was during this period that I worked as a radio announcer and producer at Educadora FM, an experience that was fundamental in consolidating my training in communication.

In Campinas, I co-founded the production company Fábrica do Som with Gustavo Souza. For 10 years, I intensely experienced the creation of campaigns, working as a voice-over artist, singer, and producer. Television broadened this experience. I worked as a presenter of programs and retail commercials, combining image with voice and deepening my understanding of audiovisual storytelling.

While still in Campinas, I began my career at 89FM in São Paulo. When the daily commutes became impossible, I moved permanently to the capital. I spent ten years at the rock radio station, working alongside great professionals and also taking on the role of the station's standard voice.

In 2006, I joined Clube da Voz, an organization that brings together prominent voice actors in Brazil. Between 2018 and 2021, I had the honor of presiding over the association. Throughout my more than three-decade career, I have lent my voice to countless campaigns for major national and international brands, as well as institutional communication projects and corporate videos. For five years, I was the voice of Super Linha, Santander's IVR system in Brazil.

"I like to study
the script
and try"

As a documentary narrator, I have recorded hundreds of productions shown on channels such as Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Nat Geo, VH1, MTV, and TV Cultura. Currently, I am the official voice of the UFC Countdown documentaries shown on Paramount+. Documentary narration requires a balance between information, rhythm, and sensitivity. The interpretation supports the image without competing with it.

My professional voice-over work also includes institutional videos, podcasts, jingles, radio and TV spots, audiobooks, and corporate events, where I work as a Master of Ceremonies. I was the standard voice for stations such as TLC (Discovery), 89FM São Paulo, Rádio Cidade do Rio de Janeiro, 98FM Belo Horizonte, and Beach Park FM Fortaleza. Today, the Rede 98 radio and TV network uses my voice.

Music has always been a part of my life. Composing, playing guitar, and singing have gone from being just pleasure to becoming artistic fulfillment. I've recorded three albums of my own compositions — Endless (2011), Holy Bandit (2014) and Life is not just (2017) — available on music platforms and also here on the website.

In recent decades, the professional voice-over market has undergone profound transformations. While the routine once involved traveling across the city from studio to studio, today recordings are done remotely. From my studio in São Paulo, I serve clients throughout Brazil and abroad.

Standing in front of the microphone, watching the "record" button flashing, and giving voice to a script remains as captivating as it was in the early years.

Technology has changed. The essence remains the same.
Standing in front of the microphone, seeing the "record" button light up and transforming text into narrative is still what drives me.

I'm so glad you made it this far.
Who knows, maybe the next story to be told will be yours.

I've always loved the plasticity of the voice and how much meaning there can be in each nuance of speech, but I believe that you need to understand before speaking. I like to study the texts and experiment. This is the only way to achieve the objectives of the message. Whether for a commercial, an institutional video, a radio and TV promotional call, a documentary, an application or an event, count on me to find the best way for each voiceover.
