Breathing is the basis of speech. If what produces the sound of your voice is the air that comes out of your lungs... it makes perfect sense...
Before a word can be born, one must breathe.
It is this fraction of a second that sets the rhythm and often shapes the intention of your speech.
Furthermore, breathing isn't just about putting air into the lungs; it's about putting tranquility in the body.
And with tranquility, the throat relaxes, the vocal cords vibrate more freely, and the voice emerges naturally—firm and stable.
Breathing and emotion go hand in hand.
So much so that when you feel fear, your breathing is the first thing to change. In an extreme case, the rigidity is so great that air doesn't come in, the larynx contracts, and your voice won't come out. I don't know if this has ever happened to you… it's horrible!
So, to communicate well, focus on your breathing to bring you tranquility and confidence.
With this combination you'll go far. I mean, with this combination you'll speak better.
Oh well, it doesn't matter, whoever speaks best goes further... it's all the same. 🙂
